Deirdre is a native of Monagea in West Limerick, but she has made West Clare her home, she is a remarkable singer with a very distinguished voice.
You can tell Deirdre invested a lot of time in selecting the songs on this album, her strong pleasant voice suits these songs very well indeed, she opens with a lovely lilting rendition of "Faces of Friends" that will put even the grumpiest listener into a good mood.
This is a beautiful album, well produced and a must have for your collection. A gem of a CD.
