It has been a great pleasure for me to be reacquainted with the music of Joe Liddy while working on this second edition of The Leitrim Fiddler Vol. II. The first edition, published in 1991, has been out of print for some time. This re-issue is in response to a demand that still exists to learn and play his tunes, an ongoing testament to the genius of this unique composer.
