The reprint of Bowing Styles Vol. 1 by David Lyth is finally available. First published by Comhaltas in 1981, it was an immediate success and sold out a number of years ago, making existing copies collectors items. This new look reprint is sure to be a hugh favourite with fiddle players worldwide. Vol.1 together with Vol. 2 are unique in that, not only are the tunes transcribed in the syle of the musicians, Coleman, Morrison and Killoran in Vol.1, while Vol.2 focuses on the older generation of Munster fiddle players, but the bowing is also transcribed.
